I think people are looking for a 'simple' answer to what are VERY complicated issues.Young's 'made up' theories are easily disproven by everything that is well known and understood about human biochemistry and physiology. Let me set the record straight here what im saying is that ,yes, neutralizing acid in blood in necessary to maintain health because acid is corrosive to body tissues and causes physical deterioration, and sudden rapid alkalosis is hazardous in vivo and can happen only if you go from a blood ph of 5,0 to say 9.0 then yes you might get paradoxical alkalosis reactions, but if you rise blood ph slowly in small increments with an IV so that your body adapts then ph rising is safe .

Let me set the record straight here what im saying is that ,yes, neutralizing acid in blood in necessary to maintain health because acid is corrosive to body tissues and causes physical deterioration, and sudden rapid alkalosis is hazardous in vivo and can happen only if you go from a blood ph of 5,0 to say 9.0 then yes you might get paradoxical alkalosis reactions, but if you rise blood ph slowly in small increments with an IV so that your body adapts then ph rising is safe .

There is no scientific proof that eating acidic foods causes cancer.
You are unnecessarily eliminating whole groups of healthy foods by following this diet.
