  • Triggerhappy151 I got the 30rd clip on mine the bad part is loading it do you know where I can find the 50 rd clip

  • my uncle has one he got for 80 bucks. its got a 50 round mag. fuckin love that gun

  • can some one tell me how to shoot and load this gun .thanj you jamie

  • Where is your 20 round Tapco Magazine and stock?

  • Made in China

  • they say that a sks is better than a mini 14. you think that is true?

  • @kjsh987 Its as reliable, its lighter, the sights aren't as good, but the caliber is very different.

  • Norinco SKS is a legendary best!!! absolutely classic!

Chinese says: "non-regeret when you pull the trigger"

China used to arm all population in 2nd world war... in that huge land, eastern sea fishermen, west camel troopers all given the best reliable weapon with excellent performance!

  • Made in China

  • @Ailin95

Chinese SKS made in China? Shocker.

  • <3 this gun cant wait till i get a couple of paycheck to get the tapco stock :)

  • The bayonet lug is there. You can just buy a spiked SKS bayo for like $20 and install it.

  • I prefer most SKS variants to the Yugo because I can't use that dorky grenade launcher on the front.

  • can you get bigger clips for this model?

  • the Chinese one doesn't have a stripper clip anyway only the Yugo and Russian and Albanian have the stripper clips

  • @heinamen My Norinco uses stripper clips just fine, it's even got the feed ramp too :D

  • @Yachera

most chinese ones got a real magazine k

  • @heinamen not really the ones that take AK mags are quite uncommon, which would be why they cost about twice as much as a regular(sp) SKS. And they all use "real" magazines :3

  • @Yachera

kinda true but i know they were built a lot of times stock with the magazine

but anyways how the chinese sks from you holding up because not to say they arent good but i heard there parts are way cheaper built but im not to sure

and I was wondering how much this gun really costed you

    thanks

  • @heinamen My carbine is great I bought it for $459 great condition. It came with a sling and a spike bayonet. I bought two detachable mags for it , but I found out they were promag and they FAIL! I got a slide on round holder for the butt-stock. I also bought some soft point and FMJ ammo too. It was all at the shop and came out to $790, I know I could have got stuff cheaper online but you should support your local gun shops. also you can get a Norinco M1A for $400 in canada, I suggest that.

  • @Yachera

Oh I know that i should support my local gun shop because I have a Russian SKS myself that I got for $350 bucks myself and then I got 1120 rounds of FMJ for another $200

the gun is in the best condition ever, no dents, no scratches almost, it's perfect

and the gun was built in 1956

  • i have to agree the chinese norinco is much lighter due to the fact that the stock is a porus hard wood though as to what kind im not to sure of i recently bought mine and i must saw its a superb beginners rifle i def recommend it and a great hunting rifle if your into that kinda stuff

    good shooting

  • how much does one of these cost?

  • @Xslayer314 Got mine for around 250.

  • @Xslayer314

you should be paying around $200 to $400

  • I own a Chinese SKS, and I love it. I have compared it to the Yugo and Russian SKS's and it is significantly lighter, and thinner than both of the others. I have never had a jam, and it is very accurate.

  • The Yugo SKS has the grenade launcher that adds more weight to it. The Russian models can have laminate wood which is heavier then what is used on the Chinese models.

  • @esh325 Yeah the Yugo felt alot heavier, and I noticed the hand grip felt thicker.I realy like the dark wood finish on the Russian SKS. I wish I could figure out what the markings mean on my rifle and what year it was made.

  • Both of my Russian SKS's say 1953 on the dust cover with the Tula arsenal marking which is a star with an arrow inside it. The Izhvesk arsenal marking is a triangle with an arrow inside it.

  • @esh325

thats right mine was made in the tula factory also just in 1956

  • I love those post WWII semi auto rifles. Accuracy is sometimes better than assault rifle but worse than a bolt action. Just so cool.

  • Nice, an SKS without all of the Crapco plastic, and the origional magazine, not the shitty " high capacity ones that jam constantly". Keep on shootin!!

  • all men are brother, do not fight.

  • the vietnamese who fought in the nva didn´t think that

  • lol true

i'm chinese myself and i'll admit

a great deal of the norinco pistols jam all the time.

i think it's because the springs are too tight in the slides.

  • I have a Norinco TT-33 and it hasen't failed once.

  • clean it and learn how it operates.

  • That looks like a plain-Jane Norinco SKS with a standard 10 rd fixed magazine and without a lot of random accessories tacked on. I approve.

They are useful little rifles. More accurate than the AK and more comfortable to shoot. The SKS sight picture is only fair -- but that puts it way ahead of the terrible AK iron sights.

  • other than russia who made the best version of this rifle

  • I have a Chinese model that is very good. In terms of closest in design to the Russian models the Romanian SKS will be what you're looking for.

  • after russian sks, the best is a yugoslavian model.

Chinese ones I have heard both good and bad stories. depends on the luck of the draw.

  • I never heard any bad stories that you speak of. I have two Chinese ones and they function perfectly. If anything, I've heard more bad stories about the yugoslovian one. In fact I have a bad story about one. I bought one with a severley pitted chamber which meant rounds could not feed which made the rifle paperweight. If the chamber or bore isn't pitted from corrosive ammo, it might be the gas valve that has problems. Yugo SKS's suck.

  • Not to be confused with the Chinese AK remake of the same name.

  • Doesn't the fact the it Chinese make it a Type-56?

  • its a battle rifle

  • At least he called it a " rifle " instead of an " assault rifle " like so many other dumbasses on Youtube.....

  • are you ambidextrous? some videos your left-handed, some you arent.

  • I'm left handed right eye dominant. I've switched around trying to find whats most comfy. I've settled on eye dominance and shoot entirely right handed now.

  • oh. myself, im right-handed. guns for me are one of those things i cant use left-handed, on the other hand though, i have the strange comfort of hitting with a baseball bat left-handed. and other things. strange.

  • Did you get a bayonet yet ?

  • its a carbine, not a rifle

  • <3 my 7.62 great all around gun

  • They us T-95's now.

  • Public education and spelling all the way!

  • There is absolutely nothing wrong with a Chinese SKS. If anything they're better than the Yugos....

  • ebay has bayonets. Got mine for 5$ today + 5$shipping. Looks/works very good, and puts pressure on my cleaning rod so it doesn't fall out anymore.

  • so when we go to war with china you better get a better rifle buddy

  • i dont think we will, i have a feeling it will be russia because they attacted georga.

  • moron georgia attacked southossetia which technicaly is russian so therfore it was georgia who attacked learn your facts dipshit

  • hey your a faggot so stfu russia attacked georgia you get your facts straight mother fucker

  • actually you're wrong. i can tell you get your information from MSM. Georgia invaded South Ossetia and started killing civilians and Russia responded.

  • that would be putins spin on it good spin if you want control of their gas pipelines

  • it's an ok weapon, but the reason why countries use it is because it's cheap

  • Russia still uses it. For their honor guad and in ceremonies such as funerals, guard shifts at Lenin's tomb and the grave of the unknown soldier. Just like the US military still uses the M1-Garand and the Springfield '03.

  • I meant in actual combat nobody uses it anymore except 3rd world terrorists, I wasen't dissing the rifle, I have a SKS myself and it's a great gun.

  • Mostly true. Yes they are no longer a standard weapon (for the most part) China and many other nations such as Russia and Vietnam etc...still keep millions of them just in case. But yeah I get what you say.

  • not realy. not only is it cheap but it's buit Almost like the AK47,wich means you can drag it throught mud, crud, bloodsand and anything else and it will still fire and not jam.and it's an accurate rifel.and it's relativaly easy to clean.(I know this because my dad owns a chinese typ 56 SKS and it's a very VERY nice rifel).

  • It fires a .30-30? From an SKS? That's a little unusual.

  • impossibel

  • The 7.62x39mm cartridge fired by the SKS is sometimes said to be roughly equivalent to the Winchester .30-30 round when used as a deer hunting round.

  • yea its called the poormans deer rifle down south

  • when my father joined the army in 1969, he had a such rifle, 32 years later he retired as a small arms' expert. he thinks SKS is a very good simi-auto rifle, he short hundreds of thousands bullets in his army life, especilly type53 heavy machine gun-250 bullet belt. so cool

  • I have one of those...With a bayonet of corse

  • looks fun, how acurate are they.

  • very accurate i shot 1 they are 7.62 with NO RECOIL! GO CRAAAZZZY!

  • JOHN! What the fuck happened to you? It's about time you got your hands off the keyboard and your finger on a trigger.

  • PovRayMan. Your mounting assembly is there. It's real to buy the bayo and put it on. Takes about 5 minutes. You can buy them for about 11 dollars. Check it out on line or at a gunshow.

  • I got a yugo with the bayonet. excellent condition for like 149.

  • Mine didn't have the bayonet either. They were taken off at some point to comply with the federal assault weapons ban.

  • Yeah, a good Chicom SKS should have the spikey bayonet, not unlike what you find on the business end of an M44 Mosin-Nagant, only underfolded.
