  • Hope your enjoying your retirement , family and life in general . God bless and good luck buddy . We miss you !

  • @ Slapshot... He was the only one to wear an Official badge pin given to him in 2001! I think it's a detective badge pin, but I'm not sure... But he had it on every single night!

  • It's August now, and it's still here. Testament to Scott's many friends everywhere, and to ABC of course.

  • I met him once at Shea Stadium years back. He was a nice guy. Didn't realize how HUGE he was.

  • I had no clue he retired...enjoyed his sportscasts on WABC when I lived in NYC in 2004-05. Wishing him the best of luck...

  • Good bye Scott, we will miss you.

  • i was born and raised in nyc and watch eyewitness news almost everyday, i will truly miss scott clark's style of sportscasting

  • imagine douglas macarthur saying: we will golf....take care dude, scott will be missed. he was funny without being hokey or over the top.

  • I've seen so many people come and go from channel 7 over the years. Roger Grimsby, Bill Beutel, Warner Wolf, Roseanne Scamardella, Maghee Hickey, John Johnson, Ernie "Keep fuckin' that chicken" Anastos, Kaity Tong, Spencer Christian, Storm Field...and Scott Clark joins them as an alumnus. Happy retirement, Scott!

  • it wud of ben much better for him to retire to close out the new yr,

  • has any1 noticed the little police badge he was wearing since 9/11? that's a true patroit.

  • sry for him to leave talking bout the giants awful collapse,

  • This is just as emotional as Bill Beutel's final Newscast when he passed away

  • In This Clip, From 3:20 To 3:29, It Was WABC-TV's Channel 7 Eyewitness News' Sports Reports On The Jets Are #1 In The AFC, And #2 In The NFL On Friday Evening, November 14, 1986.

  • it's cool how he left on his own terms after a great career.. no dumb mistakes or saying controversial things to get him suspended and/or fired. grew up watching scott and his quirky segments... SPIN SPIN SPIN!!!!!... we'll miss you scottie!!

Is leaving and I'm really, really going to miss him.

  • Thank you for posting!

  • Is it me or did Bill Ritter before the last pause before the close, was holding up the tears or something? He really looked sad that Scott was retiring.

  • In This Clip, From 7:45 To 8:08, It Was WABC-TV's Channel 7 Eyewitness News At 11 Video Close From Monday Night, January 3, 2011.

  • I been watching Scott since I was a kid. Twice a day I always looked forward to his sports cast. I hope he will write for a newspaper or appear on TV somewhere else soon.

  • The last great sports anchor. New York sports will never be the same again. Happy retirement Scott.

  • Sad to see one of the giants leave ABC after almost a quarter-century. I hope Scott Clark the best on his retirement. Kudos.
