his b sides were better artistically, he is a rebel by nature. he did "their hits" for "them" and classics for his fans and his own personal outlet. them being rec execs. i respect this little arrogant punk, actually met him in 87. small in stature huge in talent. i was a doorman at a marriott on marco island fl, and checked him and his wife and her sister in. it was shortly after the uh huh dvd came out, i brought in my copy to have him sign it but he had checked out early.

wow thx for posting this, i had this on cassette, the whole recording was awesome, front to back. i bought the first generation auto reverse alpine cassette deck and would listen to thi whole album and never tire of it, it took me back to my days of youth!!! if only i could hear taxi dancer, and see a video

I LOVE this song, and John Mellencamp too. I have this album on CD and love it. He only lives 20 miles from my home town, and you have to be a fan if you're a native "Hoosier" I've been to his concerts and he puts on one hell of a show! Thanks so much for posting this one!
