  • some rappers know that their not role models. I remember Lil Wayne looking into the camera, and I think he was high, he sure looked like it. He said I' am not a role model and I was liked really?? shocker. :/

  • This man is AWESOME live!! The truth all the way!!

  • Talaam is my absolute favorite spoken word artist. I met up with Talaam a few times in Chicago. I did my own favorite "Tantrum" on an open mic nite at Touch of The Past (Bellwood, IL) on the nite he headlined. Man I felt like I was flowing the blood and tears of my final exam in front of my professor. He was so positive and supportive. He is a true professional, a true ethereal lyricist, and a true soldier. My favorite speak by Talaam is "Proselytizing". Hetepu! One Love Talaam!

  • That shit was deep.

  • most of these rappers r just brainwashed. just like brittany spears showin of "no panties" these niggas playin a role to destroy the people of this country and make it look good.

  • @paranoidpatriot i agree!!! These cats are so quick to destroy that when u talk about buildin up people..youre all of a sudden a square. the irony is...masons consider that a good thing. i love being a square ...at least Im not killin and poisoning my own like some kkk member. These fake rappers say "IM EXPRESSING THE PAIN I WENT THRU"..why the fuck would i want to experience your pain?? If you have the flu...stay away from me..I dont want to know what youre going thru....seriously..wow

  • rap music is promoted deliberately to destroy black people.....it makes them believe that they can have anything but they dont care for the ones who dont make it, they know they will emulate what they think is reality....If you are black and smart see what rap music has done and is doing to your race

  • I love Taalam Acey..

  • Everybody is making money off of black people and we don't even see this. And we the main ones who stay broke....think about it.

  • dudes like him feed the racial fight

  • Not really.

  • Geeze.... the man went deep!

    He told the truth though....

Hmmmm! make u think doesn't it!

  • Whooaaa!

  • Politicians supporting Welfare (any form of subsidization) is for the destruction of the middle class, by definition -- to avoid this politicians must offset the middle classes burden by "policing" the world (taken 3rd world people's stuff - assets: gold, oil, diamonds, labor) to reduce costs here - so the middle class will continue to consume. 72% of Blacks live in Middle class -- Ron Paul '08

  • Ron Paul is a Republican people. Remember why people vote Republican: to keep money out of the hands of the govt that might give it to black people in the ghetto. Racists vote Republican. Now Ron Paul is trying to convince black people that Republicans are for black people. The same Republicans that fought voting rights for blacks, that fought against affirmative action for blacks.

Now Ron Paul wants blacks to be Republicans. Gimme a break.

  • Atlien: You are misinformed. It was Republicans who ended slavery, it was a Republican Congress who passed most of the civil rights amendments, the Democrats at that time in Congress were mostly from the south and voted against it. Democrats dropped the bomb (Truman) Democrats took us into Vietname (kennedy-johnson) - Republicans got us out - Democrats took us into Korea - Republicans got us out.

  • Atlien: The Neo-Cons are comprised of Democrats and Republicans, they are CFR members (NAU or NWO New World Order). CFR Neo-Cons are: Bush, Cheney, Clinton, Obama, Dodd, Romney, McCain, Guiliani, Gore, Pelosi. The non-CFR candidates running for office are Kucinich, Ron Paul, and Mike Gravel.

  • Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, was toward the end of his life against Affirmative Action and so was Malcolm X -

  • Malcolm X called Affirmative Action and the "Great Society" of Lyndon Johnson, a trick of the white man. He said it would destroy the entrepreneurial improvisational spirit in the black community and drive black men from their homes, by creating a disincentive to stay married and seek hand outs.

  • It's whites that don't seem to want to work. Which is why they consistently elect leaders that will invade other countries and steal. Just look at the globe and tell me who is the bigger thief. The US, Canada, Australia..these weren't white countries before whites stole them! So save the handout lecture for someone who doesn't know history.

  • Atlien: First off, I'm not white, I identify as black (Irish Mother, Afro-Cuban Father) -- That being said I agree with "some" of what you re saying. I know my history too, but unlike you I do not generalize. To answer your question "who is the bigger thief?" As far as Blacks in America - I would say Arabs and other Africans. NO TRANS-ATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE WITHOUT AFRICANS AND ARABS - BROWN PEOPLE. White people who actually owned slaves were to blame for every that happend afterward.

  • OctoBox, you don't know what you're talking about.

Look up Realignment. Before and during Reconstruction, the white pro-slavery south identified as Democrat. After Reconstruction, the white pro-slavery South realigned as Republicans and the slavery abolitionists became Democrats. This is very basic US History. The folks who are now Republicans are the direct descendants of former Democrats who fought to uphold slavery.

You thought I didn't know that? Or perhaps hoped I didn't? Try again.

  • Atlien: Your understanding of "realignment" is overtly generalized. Al Gore and his Senatorial Democratic father made their fortune off of tobacca slavery. David Duke and his family were life-long Democrats, he won a seat in Lousiana House of Representatives as a Democrat 1975, ran for President as Democrat in '88, then switched later that year to Republican. These are only two examples, kind of throws your generalizations out the window, huh?

  • Atlien: Forget all this tired racist throw-back arguements, focus on the present. Let's have a basic debate. Barring race, what kind of President do you want - what are the important issues?

  • Atlien: go here on Youtube "1/3 Ron Paul presents" This is one such issue that Ron Paul fights for, this would have helped millions of brothas falsely accused or imprisoned. Stop generalizing check out Ron Paul and see if his ideas would benefit you, judge him by his voting record and by the content of his character. Liberty helps the Black Entrepreneur, but it does not help the Black Hand-Out with Pockets turned Out, smile.

  • Barring race, huh? That's pretty ridiculous to try and talk politics...barring race.

I'll tell you what I'd like. A president that wasn't racist and that was willing to confront the racist system.

Haha...barring race. You're funny. US politics move on race more than any other factor.

  • As for throw back arguments, Reread the thread. You started all of that and seemed to be fine with it til I hit you with some truth.

Then you lecture me about focusing on the present. Sigh...

  • Okay - You win that round, ha! You are right, for racist minded people, people who believe they are held back by race then you win. My mental state is that the more they hold me back the quicker I rise -- I believe I can argue this in the black-community. Fact: After slavery blacks were the highest skilled labor class, if based on stamina alone. Henry Ford saw this and offered wages that were competitive for blacks over whites -- based not on Affirmative action but on real skillz.

  • Let's move forward. As we move into industrialization we have Jim Crow. At this point we're the highest skilled labor with laws enacted to hold us back -- what happened. Blacks became entrepreneurial (birth of Jazz - Improvisationalism - Entrepreneurialism). To throw off this Entrepreneurialism they created the Great Society (Lyndon Johnson) and sent us to die in wars. In 2006 African Americans were the highest ranking entrepreneurs of any race in America, 2nd only to new immigrants.

  • After 7 years of studying Economics, reading the constitution, and studying congressional voting records - I believe truthfully that Ron Paul best supports the Entrepreneur, the middle class (72% of blacks are middle class), has the best tax solutions, by record is against war as a solution to political and social problems, and thusly best suports the black community.

  • I actually like Ron Paul and think he would be the best candidate to win. Just so we could hang them neo-cons for the death & destruction they have caused.

I just have a question.. "(72% of blacks are middle class)", what does this mean? Cuz 72% of my homies, family, co-workers aren't "middle class". Maybe my question should be what YOU consider middle class?

  • Truthvspower: Depending on the city a family who earns between 42,000 and 78,000 per year. Most of my black friends earn this on their own. There is a significantly large black middle-class. In fact on a per capita basis there are more blacks in the middle class than whites. Also, in 2006 Blacks were the number 1 race to become entrepreneurial, thank God for right mindedness during "the strugle" - Jim Crow in some ways gave us an Isometric-Socio-Economic workout!!

  • At this point, I am not going to debate your #'s. Your ability to pull out great numbers showing progress. I commend you for your positive attitude.

OctoBox, your entrepreneurial dream will not work in this arena w/o other major shifts in power. They will kill us before they watch us "lift ourselves up with our bootstraps". That is what white supremacy is all about. Power backs from nothing except more power.

  • Truth: 10 Leading experts on Entrepreneurialism and the dynamics that effect or could effect self-enterprise brok it down...[Our Notions of]: Individualism (vs Group Think or Mobocracy), Power Distance (how we meditate on inequities), Masculinity (dominant social values: success/achievement vs caring/nurturing), and Uncertainty Avoidance (fear of unquantifiable hazards).

  • and Lincoln freed the slaves...dude I see you are still at it huh? Ron Paul seems like the right guy..but the wrong time. Africans ain't about to believe in anyone involved in the homo frat you are identifying as republicans... besides if he had any chance of winning his OWN party would smoke him.

  • truth: i don't know what you are talking about - but, "fear" can't be a reason not to engage in "liberty." Ron Paul does have a chance and they must think he has a chance otherwise they wouldn't "lie" or "underplay" the success he has each debate. After each one ABC, FOX, CNBC admits that he won then they post that Romney or Guiliani won. Also, he just raised $4.2M in one day - beating the all-time one day fundraising amount for any Republican!!!
