I wish the X Factor was still like this. Yes, the stage is smaller, but at least it was what it said on the tin - a talent show. These days, is all about the stage productions which mask the limited vocal abilities of the contestants (i.e. Jedward), the novelty acts (again, Jedward), and the bloody style-wars (Cheryl vs. Dannii).

His album went to number 1 too but no other singles were released I think. Cowell dropped him, so he tried to go solo. Now, he's pretty much a nobody. But what pisses me off is that he's so ungrateful of winning that he said the X Factor hasn't benefitted his life. If he wasn't a knob when this aired, he is now IMO

@hayleyjanemat In a word: nothing. He released his winners single, a cover of Phil Collins Against All Odds. That got to number 1 (I know, shocker for an X Factor winner, right?). His album went to number 1 too but no other singles were released I think. Cowell dropped him, so he tried to go solo. Now, he's pretty much a nobody. But what pisses me off is that he's so ungrateful of winning that he said the X Factor hasn't benefitted his life. If he wasn't a knob when this aired, he is now IMO
