It's awesome that you've got a single! Here in the Netherlands everything is quite different. For instance, we don't have a dorm at all! Everyone has to find their own place to live. But there are a lot of people who are ranting out a room..And I just rent a room, and I share my bathroom and kitchen with 2 other girls xD
At this moment I am reading 13 reasons why by Jay Asher. It's a really great book, but I'm still bumped that I haven't got Catching Fire. I've got to wait till it comes to NL
I was already typing Catching Fire when you said that! So that's what I'm reading, but next I want to read A Great and Terrible Beauty. I started high school today, and apparently we'll be reading Great Expectations and Romeo and Juliet! That should be interesting.

Reading OotP (nearly done) (again, of course). Next I'm going to read my aunt's newly published book (!) called One Small Life. It finally got here. I ordered it in March.

I agree that college is the perfect combination of freedom, free time and social interaction. The best part is that the classes actually get fun the longer you go. Things get more specialized; if you're not having fun, you did something wrong.
I too am on a Pepsi Campus and prefer Coke. Luckily, our campus is surrounded by no less than six Subways.

As for what I'm reading, I just started the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray, as well as being in the middle of a reread of Deathly Hallows. I'll definitely be reading Catching Fire as soon as I get my hands on it. It's not supposed to come to bookstores here until Sept 15th, so I'll se if I can wait that long, or if I end up getting it from Amazon...
Living on a Pepsi campus when you like Coke is very hard! I was walking to the store once a week for 12 packs of diet coke..
I just finished the book to end all books.. a.k.a. Infinite Jest (which is now going to take the place of War and Peace as a doorstop ;-) ) and now I am reading (actually re-reading) An Abundance of Katherines because I can't find anything good (I have Catching Fire but saving it for the holiday weekend when that's the only thing I have to really concentrate on!)
yay Lizzie!! You are incredibly incredibly lucky to have a SINGLE...... I'm so happy for you! Stuffed animals are a must..... especially in college.
I am currently reading "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho.... It was given to me by my college advisor right before I graduated in May. I highly recommend it!

I'm reading Peter Pan (I work through the classics slowly) and it's actually a lot better than I thought it would be
