I actually like that fact that the typical Subaru person doesn't like the new models because those are the people that make me ashamed of owning one. Look at the used market for these cars, they are all riced out, lowered, and Teeny bopper looking. Not to mention a huge percentage of them have marked titles. I'm glad Subaru redesigned these,08+ are the best they've looked in the entire life cycle of the car.

Hand movement is his defense mechanism. It's an indication of uncertainty and unassertiveness: he gestures as he speaks, as though he is trying to mentally write down every one of his words. In other word, he's regurgitating the marketing phrases he has been rehearsing for awhile, and he moves his hands, in attempt to market the car word for word. I may be wrong.... But the car is still good.

The repeated hand gesture probably shows that he is not secure/comfortable while marketing the car. If he was comfortable, his body language would be much more fluid and easy-going. In other word, we would expect him to have more varied hand gestures than that "hands down" movements.

Owner of a WR blue 08 WRX and I love it. Much better than my ex 02 WRX and needless to say the 06 2.0i that I traded in. The car itself looks MUCH better in real life and it drives well. It's smooth, cops won't bother ya and it still goes very fast. I was also a nay sayer of the new model but not anymore. Go test drive 1 at your local dealer and find out the truth for yourselves. Subie for life.

Get the 09 since it's out now. I will be getting the 09 with no second thoughts... Ordering mine within the next few weeks... More power and torque without warranty issues. Panel filter and turbo back should give extra power for a very good price ($2k Australian).
