Were your breasts sore afterward and if so for how long? Just curious and thankful they don't do anything like that to our testicles or penii. Take care.

Not saying women shouldn't be screened -- especially those in "high risk" Just find it mind blowing that women do not demand better imaging technology that does not cause unnecessary pain, false postives that cause panic and distress and result in invasive biopsies -- Who knows what kind of damage this causes to otherwise healthy bodies long term.
After just five mammograms, women who are at high risk for breast cancer are 2.5 times more likely to get the disease than those who skipped out on the tests. Women who get mammograms before they turn 20 are also at a higher risk.
Mammograms have harmed far more women than they've ever saved. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recently advised against mammograms for most women under 50, a huge leap in the right direction.

The tech asks me to tell her when to stop pressing and adjusts by hand; digital machine. I believe your comments may be too true for you. However, it sounds more like a facility problem and less the fault of the mammogram. My suggestion is find another facility. It is NOT and should NOT be such an experience.

Thats the whole point, plus it takes only a slight tap to caues pain to the testes.
If this isn't getting into that thick head of yours picture it this way, to feel the same amount of pain you'd have to have your ovaries pulled out then someone hit them.
Hence the pain is not comparable, painfull none the less I do agree.
Yea, cause the minute we devise a machine that squeezes a mans testicle as flat as that, to check for lumps, then there will be a new mamogram introduced, I betcha!

Going for my first mammogram in November. Was looking for a video to see what I would experience, but your story has covered it all (i think lol).
