Because the mod is fucking broken. Sally is supposed to open the next door but the quest marker moves, sometimes she turns around and runs back where she came from for no reason or runs against a wall for eternity

That looks like what happened at the end of this video.

Luckily I'm on PC and can just teleport all the NPCs back to me and open the door, but I missed the cut scene in the next room where you see the death ray (which is why I watched this video... Thanks)

@Jx8o5 Yeah. Mothership Zeta wasn't a very good DLC due to it's glitches and whatnot. I've moved on to New Vegas and Fallout 3 shall just gather dust on the shelf.

Okay, when I got to this part, Somah was the only person who came through the teleporter. Then she went right back into the teleporter. After that everyone disappeared and I'm stuck.

Anyone have anything constructive to say about that? And no, I don't use mods.

Not entirely true. Sound is merely vibrations, footsteps make vibrations, and the vibrations could travel through your suit.

And then, of course, the game plays on a ton of 1950's science stereotypes. That and when you're outside it is not 'vacuum.' Techncially there is never any 'air' either. The game has not needed vacuum environments before, thus it was not coded into the engine. Thus, the sound plays as normal. The breathing was merely coded for that area.
