So there is a custom preset for the tilt shift effect in looks? I'm using Looks with Final Cut Pro and can't seem to find the effect for some reason. If you could point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated!
@mikesoccer1 When you have looks open, there is a slide out tool bar on the right-hand side labeled "Tools." With that open, click on the tab labeled "Lens" and it's the effect called "Swing-Tilt."
Great job! Can I convert without using neoscene? I have the firmware hack for the gh1 with 14-140 and 50mm lens but am not getting the same results. I have magic bullet looks, can I get the same grading and tilt shift effect with that? Im very lost with my new gh1
@mikesoccer1 There are other programs that will convert the .mts files and some editors can handle the native files. I haven't used the firmware hack so I can't speak much to that. All of the grading for this piece was done with Magic Bullet Looks (including the tilt shift). I started by tweaking the built-in presets until I was comfortable enough to create my own.

@McAngelo24 The first part is with the kit lens, the night stuff is with the 20mm pancake lens, and the snow footage is the Canon FD 28mm lens. The tilt shift is an effect in Magic Bullet. The grading was a custom preset in Magic Bullet. I converted the original 720p60 files to ProResHQ using Cineform NeoScene. I slowed everything to 50% of the original speed in Adobe Premiere Pro and then exported the edit using the AIC codec. Finally, I compressed the file to h.264 using VisualHub.
