I know that many brave men and women have made major sacrifices for me, my family, my friends and others in this country who i don't even know, but why do so many vets put down people who make videos like this. I been on two deployments to Iraq. Yeah it kinda sucks, but I like the fact that life is a little bit more simple as a deployed service member. Yeah, you miss getting pussy, and going out to eat and stuff like that; but you go on your missions, you train, and you go to sleep. I actually didn't mind being deployed. These people would do the same even if they hadn't joined the military. The same can be said of Police Officers. In any faction you have those that truly believe what they are doing, and will uphold good values. Then you have those that have problems with them before they join. Me personally, no matter what happens I'm going to uphold what I believe in. The economy is so horrible that everyone is joining the military these days to make a living.

You do realize those individuals (in the wikileaks video) were seen with AK47s and RPGs in a heavily engaged area where US and Iraqi forces were fighting for two days. A member of the 2-16th had just been killed by an EFP.
So you have a large group of military aged males registering weapons in an area that had been heavily involved in fighting.
