  • Most of these so called historical dramas are often very badly researched. They are presented to entertain and unfortunately often the true facts get buried in the dramatic irony.

  • Wrong, wrong, wrong! Catherine Parr did NOT have a romantic relationship of any kind with Thomas Seymour until after her husband was dead. To my knowledge she did not even know Thomas until she came to court as a widow. She was attractive and independently wealthy, and only then did a relationship with Seymour begin. Shame on you, show writers. This is a gross misrepresentation.

  • I wonder why they stopped with Henry VIII. It is called "the Tutors" they should continue with Queen Elizabeth.

  • @Jasonthehammer

My point exactly. I also wonder why they did not start at the beginning, when Henry was crowned king.

  • Wow is anybody in this season or series a real nobal and pure woman? except for Mary?

  • Gorgeous work you did here. I like Joely, she's an amazing actress.

  • Is this Thomas Seymour the brother of Jane? If so, why is the actor different?

  • @Snezhinka9 yup he is... I think he's the same actor playing thomas seymour. Jane had two brothers (as shown in the show) , Edward and Thomas :)

  • @Snezhinka9 jane had two brothers, both of which are shown in the show

  • @Snezhinka9 The actors for Edward and Thomas Seymour are different. Since after Jane Seymour gave birth to Edward VI and died, the Seymour brothers have been pretty powerful until they were executed (Edward for felony in 1552 and Thomas for treason in 1549) during the reign of their nephew Edward VI (Edward was the Lord Protector since Edward was a minor). They were powerful and ambitious but they were impulsive and downright foolhardy.

  • @Snezhinka9 Andrew McNair played Thomas Seymour while Max Brown played Edward Seymour (the older brother).
