  • Inspirational - great soundtrack too. I'm still plugging away trying to learn free motion quilting. It takes *lots* of practice. I love feathered designs. I can quilt them by hand and they turn out beautifully but it's mega-time-consuming.

  • Cissyclo, any machine that you can drop the feed dogs on can be used for free motion quilting. Infact I have heard that even if you can't drop the feed dogs, you can cover them and then free motion quilt. You'll need a spring loaded embroidery foot though.

  • What kind of sewing machine do you use to do this free motion quilting in this video?
