This is inaccurate because the holes in the hands of jesus were made actually on the wrists, because if you do the holes on the center of the hands, the weight of the body is too much for them and they would break from the middle and up.

I went on a physics website not long back, and first page was one of the first card tricks I learn't in magic, being put forward as apparent "proof" - I think it's such a shame people take something entertaining and use it to their own advantage.

Lack of social skills run in my family so I use magic constantly when meeting people and I know pretty much anyone anywhere and it's nice to be looked up to.

I think people say it doesn't because when people think "card trick" they think, pick a card, find a card - which even I find boring. People soon freak out when they start seeing ink on cards move itself.

@raheelandleon Ah, the idea of the trick is to make the wounds appear on his hands out of thin air. Stigmata is the appearance of wounds on certain regions of the skin showing similarity to the wounds depicted in the crucifixion. The wounds made on his hands are supposed to be similar to the ones that Jesus had after being nailed to the cross. Hope this answers your question. :)

It's so silly. In a crucifixion, the nails were not plunged through the palms. Rather, they were placed just below the wrist inserted between the radius & ulna bones. That's how you know all stigmatas are fake & have nothing to do with crucifixion.
