My Grandma got cracked up when she saw Grover with Rabbit Ears on this sketch as much as I did when we watched it on Old School Volume 1 or 2.

Neither Mumford nor Grover realized that Grover was turned into a rabbit. How odd. By the way, in real life, rabbits don't hop. They run very fast.

Well, if anything, he first noticed as he was hopping away. I don't think he was aware of it before that. Mumford, of course, was just being oblivious.
