Is there a Dame as powerful in performing, as alluringly enticing, and enduring as Shirley Bassey? Certainly, there is none in MY generation. I am a convert too. Young, but a Shirley admirer from now on. I wish I discovered her early.

A Dame Shirley arena is one of love and joy and excitement. She is awesome, and to perform SO splendidly at 72 is absolutely something to take note of, any way you can.I don't blame anyone fortunate enough to be there to want to want to make it last forever on video. It is history since it is her only live concert at 72. Come on my friend feel the love and lets accentuate the positive! I thought this was a great video. I for one am grateful, and say thanks to gazzaw2004 for sharing.

I watched the edited version on iPlayer and saw so much affection, pride and love for DSB, even a shot of someone crying their eyes out. Wish I could have gone.

I was at the performance, the atmosphere was amazing ,the venue superb and Shirley just gets better and better one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I am still on cloud nine and keep watching the video,s everyone has posted. I hope the performance will be released on dvd

DSBs performance at age 72 for an hour & a half was extraordinary. I wanted to cry I was so happy standing in the intimate atmosphere with people around me squealing & exclaiming. The atmosphere was 'electric', full of love & admiration of our Dame. The new songs were delivered with emotion & subtlety in a softer tone. DSB is an incredible lady that I want to hear much more of. Age has not diminished her voice. She is astounding & I defy anyone to not be impressed by her performance.

72 years of age and there is no performer today who can ever be half as good as the great Shirley Bassey.

She still looks gorgeous and sounds great.

I can never watch the X Factor because there is only one person who as the X Factor and that is Shirley.

Never Never Never is still my favourite.

It was a FABULOUS performance. A fantastic 'launch' for DSB's new Album. Most of the concert was aired...watched it on BBC TV. Love the gown and coat. What did everyone/fans think of the new album tracks I wonder?
