they WERE cute! we sold them all when they were about 12 weeks old, just kept the one male who is now a little over a year old and GORGEOUS! thanks for the comment.
you gotta love the aussies... i have a blue merle aussie pup at probly 8 months. yet, he's still smallish. but once you see him, you'll never want to leave!
Aussies are definitely a breed unto themselves. Mine are smart enough to learn stuff but not so smart that they make trouble. Or maybe they don't make trouble because they are smart??? I dunno! :D :D
Hmm, strange! My dogs had aussie pups, and we had about the same outcome of some being black and white (with brown facial markings) and then some merles...
yeah, there's a definite ratio depending on the parents. out of nine pups three were blue merles so i'm assuming it's about 30% chance of the blue or red merles and the rest tri colors. my friend just had a litter of three and two were black tri and one was blue...30% again! :)
yeah; it's sorta to be expected. about the only thing that's a big no-no is breeding two merles together because of the white factor. you could end up with blind pups if you did that! it was so much fun having this litter we are considering doing it again!
I DIED ON CUTENESSS <3 i have an aussie 2 :)
