in the interviews Romina says there was not just 1 reason for their separation, it was something that has grown over time. But after they split things really got nasty especially because of custody of the childeren. I think Al Bano just wanted the kids 50/50 at first but the Judge decided Romina got them most of the time and Al bano had to pay. Then things got nasty. Albano accusing Romina of drug use and that kind of stuff. It is very sad.

@RoyTroy86 i am italian and i understood what he said. he was saying that he was not ready to be in the same room with his ex wife romina, and that he thinks his daughters music vid is interesting, but also thinks that the other artists music vids are interesting as well. Now the reason why he feels uncomfortable being with romina cause they ended their marriage on a very bad note, and that they blame each other for the dissapperance of their daughter which happend around 1995 to 1996.

@domamania ok yes I am reading a interview with Romina at a site from angela79at which is interesting but did not find the answer yet. It seems Albano did not like for Ylenia to be in New Orleans, not sure yet. Albano and Romina have spent 30 years together that is a long time. Still, I like the couple and I think much of their success was due to the fact that they were such a great couple. On their own they would not have had the same success.
