The sound quality of a couple of Eric Alexander's newest albums have horrible sound quality. The playing is fine, but the sound quality make the music unenjoyable to listen to. Someone needs to get thru to the producers and tell them that music this loud and lacking in dynamic will desensitize us to what good music should really sound like......

If you check out the info online it even says Hazeltine NOT Mabern. Plus the solo sounds nothing like Mabern. Say I was even wrong here, no need to name call.

I know people might find this offensive but my youtube saying is "fighting on the internet is like competing in the special olympics, even if you win, you're still retarted." yeah i find it offensive as well which is why i use it sparingly. But, its the only short phrase i know that effectively gets my point across that fighting on the internet and facebook and things like that are stupid.

A very good group. Eric´s playing here is much closer to George Coleman than Coltrane and he is definitely a tenor man to watch.

He negotiates the tune´s difficult changes with ease and not afraid to take on the challenge of playing a well known jazz classic.
