I absolutely love this video clip... It was my favorite part of that season. Was in his corner the whole time. Extraordinary skills in his own dance genre...yet versatile enough to adapt to the other styles. He focused...and received exactly what he deserved. What a powerful Creator!!

Legacy should have won. I'd have Kathryn and Russel tied for second. Jakob was good, really good, but he just didn't connect like they did. Legacy just has this passion for dance and great personality that I think would've carried him to the top, if not for the Ashleigh and Ryan debacle.

as i am glad that russell won (and he is a very good dancer AND an amazing krumper), i was really towards jakob. mostly because i'm from windermere, where jakob is from. and when someone on sytycd is from your hometown, you really want them to do well in competition. even though russell was creative and a krumper, jakob was the best dancer technically on the show ever (in my opinion) and everyone in windermere will never forget that. CONGRATS RUSSELL, but jakob will always be the winner for me.

Russell rules Season 5 & 6 combined and would be the winner of the dual seasons if there were such title. Jeanine got lucky Russell didn't compete in Season 5. I have never fully approved of Jeanine's win. She wasn't as consistent as her competition in terms of dance. I think she only won because she was up against tremendously talented dancers who were aware of their greatness hence knew to keep their vibe tempered just to avoid coming across as cocky (i.e.Brandon and Kayla). Good job, Russell.

Love him, but I am amazed just how quickly his leg stopped hurting when he found out he won. haha. I am so glad he won, he was my favorite since the beginning of the season. good job Russell! As someone who said they were very careful when they choose what the title is called, "Americas FAVORITE Dancer", he Russell was the fave his season!

And Russell just got better week after week. You could see the learning curve. That's why he won. And that's why he deserved to win.

I'm so thrilled for Russell! I was rooting for him all season. He really deserved to win, and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for him.

He seems like he has a really big heart, and I like how polite, thoughtful and articulate he is too. Obviously I don't know him personally, but at least that's how he came across on the show.

And he's really good looking as well. Too bad he has a girlfriend... ;-)
