and the jet engines turn at like a million rpms. how do they reduce the speed enough to attach them to the wheels?

The water is injected in the engine with the diesel too cool the pistons, so the dosent melt. the black smoke is becurse that the give the engine more diesel then it can burn. the stock looking tractores use modified tractor engine with up to 4 turboes and 150 psi in turbo pressure.the "modified" tractores uses airplane/heli engine suchs as the v12 aero griffon 2500 HP std .tank engine and many more

Those are (afaik) 2 turbocharged Continetal V12 engines formerly used in M47 and M48 tanks (Patton Tank).

The tractor is the Flying Hawk II of the german flying hawk team.
