Battlefield 3 is exponentially slow-paced. That very reason accounts for the majoirty of people who eschew it. Complaining about the learning curve is inconsequential considering its maintains the same relative pace no matter how proficient you become with the controls or BF3 mechanics.

The thing with people that don't like this game is that they're not used to having to track people with bullets/realistic sound FX/having to use teamwork and tactics/getting shot by snipers because they dont understand you cant just run and gun you gotta use cover. So they all get pissed off with dying all the time and having to run madly back into battle only to get shot again. Takes a couple of weeks of hard gaming to get used to it and the tactics etc.

Hackers in general suck ass and I wish the would all just die in a hell fire but that will never happen. The qualms with Battlefield is that the game is slow, the single player means NOTHING, and the maps are too big. 1 and 3 are literally the same, appeals to others. It appeals to slower paced players, which is the opposite of what CoD is. The 2nd one is something that you should except from Dice, by now.

@yoBeans117 Most of us are glad there aren't a bunch of 12 year olds playing the game, but it's a little sad for DICE and EA, sure. I've played BO recently and it still sucks, so my options are somewhat limited. In BF3, the score I get reflects how well I played. In COD, my score depends entirely on lag. Even with all the glitches, BF3 is a far superior experience to recycled COD 4. Whatever they're calling the new map pack.
@undead12335 BF3 wouldn't run on the BF2 engine, whereas COD has made 5 games on the same engine. The look and feel of Bad Company 2 (the game you are probably referring to) was almost completely different than BF3, because of the technical differences in Frostbite 1 and 2. The last 5 CODs all look the same (Id tech 5, I think). You can argue which is better or more fun, but the Frostbite engine is way more complex, uses physics modelling, and looks (imho) MUCH better than any COD.

@1991donatas I'm not comparing it graphics wise, or by how smooth it is, of course the PC will win that. The reason i feel this way is that this game was designed for 32 players on small maps, and 64 on big maps, it just doesn't play worth a damn on console. BFBC2 seemed more designed around the console, which is why it was more fun in my opinion.

If you want non-stop shooting you should play Tdm but you still encounter alot of people if you walk to the right objectives, follow what is actually going on etc. There's a reason you have squads.. spawn on them to get directly back into the action or call your friend over to come pick you up and drive you over there. This is the reason I doubt console is good for it, ppl will do whatever.

I love your commentaries pres, but you didn't really try learning the style of play used in BF3. Conquest is essentially domination in CoD. Also, It's very true that the aiming and controls are pretty sluggish and hard to adapt to on console. Also, you didn't see many people because there are main routes that players travel mostly on each map for conquest, which goes the same for every game. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though. If you want the TRUE BF3 experience, try it on PC sometime.

This guy is funny as hell! The thing with people that don't like this game is that they're not used to having to track people with bullets/realistic sound FX/having to use teamwork and tactics/getting shot by snipers because they dont understand you cant just run and gun you gotta use cover. So they all get pissed off with dying all the time and having to run madly back into battle only to get shot again. Takes a couple of weeks of hard gaming to get used to it and the tactics etc.

Why the fuck is anyone comparing CoD to Battlefield? The games are two DIFFERENT GAMES you degenerate fags. Comparing the two would be like comparing Unreal Tournament to Medal of Honor.
The qualms with Battlefield is that the game is slow, the single player means NOTHING, and the maps are too big. 1 and 3 are literally the same, appeals to others. It appeals to slower paced players, which is the opposite of what CoD is. The 2nd one is something that you should except from Dice, by now.

I've played BO recently and it still sucks, so my options are somewhat limited. In BF3, the score I get reflects how well I played. In COD, my score depends entirely on lag. @undead12335 BF3 wouldn't run on the BF2 engine, whereas COD has made 5 games on the same engine. The look and feel of Bad Company 2 (the game you are probably referring to) was almost completely different than BF3, because of the technical differences in Frostbite 1 and 2. The last 5 CODs all look the same (Id tech 5, I think). You can argue which is better or more fun, but the Frostbite engine is way more complex, uses physics modelling, and looks (imho) MUCH better than any COD.

Friend of mine was watching me play yesterday for the 1st time.

If you want non-stop shooting you should play Tdm but you still encounter alot of people if you walk to the right objectives, follow what is actually going on etc. There's a reason you have squads.. spawn on them to get directly back into the action or call your friend over to come pick you up and drive you over there. This is the reason I doubt console is good for it, ppl will do whatever.

I love your commentaries pres, but you didn't really try learning the style of play used in BF3. Conquest is essentially domination in CoD. Also, It's very true that the aiming and controls are pretty sluggish and hard to adapt to on console. Also, you didn't see many people because there are main routes that players travel mostly on each map for conquest, which goes the same for every game. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though. If you want the TRUE BF3 experience, try it on PC sometime.

before today, when i heard the name elpresador i thought of a credible and respected youtube commentator. you proved me wrong, and for a 1st time viewer of any of your videos, i dont think i'll watch anymore. ha way to lose a potential subscriber and probably many more cause you're ignorance and inability to adapt to something different than COD. I used to LOVE the COD franchise up until mw3 so don't think i'm just another battlefield fanboy. til activision puts out something like cod4 i'm done
