Love Chicago, unlike NewYork with its yuppie and starbucks crowd. The long lines at clubs suck because some celeberity or wanna be and their entourage are taking up space and the drinks are to expensive. Give me a good blue collar city Chicago,Baltimore, Philidelphia. New Yorkesr whine to much, not all, but the ones I came in contact with always complained about my city yet what goes through my mind is why don't you go back or stop bitching

@sean311973 im a Chicagoan who used to live in NYC & from my experience NYC is way too dirty, crowded & overrated. i've seen rats the size of cats, huge cockroaches, trash stacked on all the sidewalks cause they have no alleys even in manhattan & miles & miles of housing projects. aint nothing better than Chicago baby! Miami has beaches with warm water and are open more then 40% of the year unlike this shithole. Many of these other cities are up and comming and you will see in the near future what is going to happen.

Nope. Over half the year sucks here the winters are very very long. Weather is bad but its not something Chicago can control....taxes, corruption, and how well it works are. These are things Chicago fails at and the point is believe it or not by experts is that this is the continuing problem with chicago.

It was fine in the 1970s--even then people were leaving but Chicago was able to hold on to companies. With increased competition with emerging cities Chicagio will have problems.

so we lost a few convention shows that cause of the economy but there is a deal worked out to bring them back & reclaim Chicago's title as the world's biggest convention center. as far as Boeing is concerned they produce their aircraft in seattle but are headquartered here in the CHI. so if anythings going to china is the production company & not the headquarters dumb ass. so its gonna be seattle's lost.

But as is Houston is set to surpass Chicago as the 3rd largest city within the next decade and Phoenix is not far behind and growing rapidly.
