yes the m3 ds real soes work with a normal ds, but not the rumble pack. You can still use the M3 card to play games but can not use the rumble pack. hope i helped

Yep, I got some moves on there and copies of games I already bought. It's much easier to have all my games on one cartridge than have to keep swapping out cartridges. I'm also into homebrew and I think I don't need a passcard with this right? The game hosts right on the SDCARD I assume. I also bought a 16MB SDHD card and I turned my DS into a 16MB Zune/iPod :P.

You were right though - it was easy and anyone should be able to do it. The only problem I had was that the motor was just a bit too big - but my dremel and a router attachment allowed me to make a channel for it. I added some hot glue (thougt about epoxy but if I ever want to take it out again - not a good thing). Works like a champ - now to order the RAM upgrade.

M3 DSs are manufactured rather sloppily...the do have a HIGH chance of bricking your system...that is why M3s don't quite fit in the slot....the electrical pins are slightly askew.....I recomend CyclonDS they are the Big Dogs of the flash card....i bit pricey but i is worth it since they do everything you want flawlessly and safley....enjoy media, emulators, gba, NDS commercial clean ROMs, homebrew, you cant go wrong with them....

lol there is nothing wrong its normal, while its proccesing just wait and let it be. The larger the game is the longer it takes to load

so when you load a game just let it be, don't do anything and if notheng happens after about two minutes then your expansion is probably broken :(

Well, the M3 Real is better because it has more options and better eye-candy than the Cyclo at a lower price. With iSakuReal, Sakura supplies you with the best visuals ever seen on a DS flash card. TouchPod, the original M3 Real firmware, isn't much to look at but it's powerful and reliable. Cyclo just has MoonShell for media; Sakura has a built-in media player for pictures, music, and movies. So as you can see, M3 Real and Sakura (iSakuReal) is the way to go.
