There's not enough money here to warrant the trip. Not when you have races such as the melbourne Cup, Caulfied Cup, Cox Plate, the BMW etc. There's no way Makybe diva would have made £6m if she had raced in Europe.
Was a gutsy win for sure, they came at him from all side but he kept giving. Interesting to note that Makybe Diva and Grey Song came from the rear, which shows his effort as awesome by setting a great pace and keeping it up. Was on Makybe Diva and Pentastic that day, lil did we know what was about to follow with her.
Fantastic effort to win from the front....it was one of the saddest days in racing I can remember when Mummify had to be put down. Right up there when Dulcify had to be destroyed.
Man, years have passed, but I'm still teary watching this race, good old Mummy.

yeah you are right, sheikh mohammed and coolmore should put some big money into some races, then it would happen.

Yes was definitely a huge loss that's for sure. I felt the same the day that Northerly broke down.
