před 3 měsíci 2:59 stratum basalis or stratum germinativum About this I think mitoses occur both in basalis and spinosum..
yes of course, I wasn't implying it was a mistake, I just wanted to confirm the names, I don't express myself very well in english, I am sorry. It was just because you mentioned in the video there are more than on designation.
This is just what I needed to fulfill my knowledge needs in order to get good grades in histology, mostly practical classes. I had the basic theoric knowledge, but having such a good video with a remarkable narration helped me a lot in understanding microscopy. Thank you Shotgun!
Probably a sample from a soft-skinned hairless beauty, why worry about hair when there are more nicer things to learn here for nonhistologists. U post a video if u have one with a hair. Thank u Shotgun!
there's no stratum "spongiosum"! the layer superficial to the stratum basale/germatitivum is called stratum spinosum because of its spiny appearance from desmosomes connecting the cells to each other.
What is the programme you are using to show the slides?

Thanks for excellent presentation. I would like to know what software is useful to download entire slide which could give various magnifications.

nice video anyway, thank you for taking the time to show it.

I think iceman is correct. Only thick skin has the stratum lucidum layer. Thick skin has five layers in the epidermis and thin skin has only four.

Does your forehead have hair? I know mine doesn't, but it's thin skin. How about your inner arm? The lateral skin on your abdomen?
Not all thin skin has hair.
nuke20ar 3 years ago
@nuke20ar All thin skin does have hair, in histology structures are viewed under a micrscope, therefore they may not be visible with the naked eye.
