The second movie would not be what it is without the first. The first starts of the story and at the end asks you the question "What will happen next?", Which is a very good, and working technique the professional production industry uses today. The first movie allowed them to make a base for the second and expand on it, Thus the first movie served more than just being first, It made the second movie what it is. Rate this up if you agree, Down if you do not. :P

I really enjoyed both movies, but the sequel definitely was better than the first and this particular scene is one of the best chase scene I have ever seen. And when Johnny 5 nearly died, it really brought lump to my throat. And no I don't think it is wrong for a real man to cry, even at a sad scene in a movie. It only serves to show we're human too. And I loved the choice of this song for this scene; it was the perfect choice.

I love it when J5 turns from Mild to Wild after learning about his human friends being locked in the freezer while he got a kicking.

I am not sure where Short Circuit was filmed but Short Circuit 2 was filmed in Toronto, ON Canada. It was my favourite of the 2 films.

In 2010, A Short Circuit remake of the original from 1986 will be released.

This song was in a lot of chase scenes in 80s movies. Most memorable are this one and the scene in Delerious with John Candy chasing after the plane to catch the real murderers. It fits so well.
