Randomly, even though everyone I try and suggest The National to seem to find them miserable/ boring, they're still one of my favourite bands. Emotive, truthfully stark and raw, with beautiful melodies and brilliant drumming! I wish more people could see it and stop liking shit. But then again, I guess it would be quite painful if they were massively popular.
