U spousty tvůrců kteří tvořily kvalitní filmy za socialismu a potom se rozhodli pokračovat ve své tvorbě i po roce 89, se jejich pozdější práce moc nepovedli. V případě pana Švankmajera to neplatí, viděl jsem Otesánka, a mohu říct že je to nádherný film, který panu Švankmajerovi ostudu rozhodně neudělal.
