@Mrsclassiccouture, I am not sure of your location, but I doubt that the cost of an item and dry cleaning / alterations would ever get near to the costs of the products in the store. For example, for this winter I bought several cashmere sweaters for about $3-$5 each, dry cleaning was about $8 for each. Similar shirts were selling at Macys at about $170.
