holey crap, this used to belong to the "ole man" remember this ole girl as a yough fella. it parked in a padock in the lower north island now with grass up around its windows. current owner wont sell it....
Yeah, the number of these old girls roaming the roads in NZ is getting rarer. My uncle still runs his 1975 Mack R700 in Nelson though he admits it isn't a wise choice economically.

Oh you think so, well I got new for you, truckers have got to be the safest drivers out there. The reason they get in accidents is because of jack ass's in cars that cut them off and don't give them any room so they can't do nothing but get in the accident, It's the cars that cause most of truck related accidents.

Kenworth,it was running empty and piggy backing its trailer,at 140kph I gave up and backed off,i pretty sure it still had more go too!this was on the Wairoa Napier road in New Zealand..a very average B road, serious horse power
Umm Cummins 855 depending if how its set up range 5 miles per gallon . But remember thats 855ci motor.. Growing up I rode in lots a trucks with that motor with my dad we use to haul fruit loads and huge plam trees . Those older cummins motors are bullet proof .
