  • Nice job, curious what snare that is??

  • @cc322 Thanks-it is the metal shell snare that came with the kit. I love it-very versatile, sounds GREAT in the studio.

  • @FunWithFlipCam Stage Custom Steel????

  • @cc322 I will be honest with you, I dont know. I just got it given to me when I picked up the kit at Yamaha. I also have a wooden shell Rock Tour snare.

  • this or gretsch catalina rock

  • @ajcf1995 i say get this

  • @ajcf1995 gretsch

  • @ScReaMMMz Yeah, they could choose Gretsch-great drums, too. But I will say this; I owned a Gretsch kit, prior to Yamaha. Gretsch gave me a one-off artist pricing deal...but my Yamaha's kick their ass.

  • Hey,

The kit sounds amazing, what heads are you using on the kit and how are they tuned, whats the band called?

  • @mayoazzzza Thanks, man. I really love them. This tour was shortly after I got the drums-and they still had the factory heads on them, which are Remo Pinstripes. I loved them but currently use Remo Black Suede Emperors-which I also endorse.

  • @FunWithFlipCam I was out on tour with an AC DC tribute band, btw. I tune the batter heads failry tight and bottom heads a degree looser.

  • @FunWithFlipCam

    what pedals are you using?

  • @mrboverbro FP8500C (longer foot board)

  • @FunWithFlipCam is this with your band? what is your band called?

  • @mayoazzzza I dont have a 'band' Im a free-lance drummer and tour/perform with many groups.

  • That bassdrum sound is... AMAZING!!! even through my crappy laptop speakers!

What bassdrum head are you using?

  • @MrTomzProductions Mr.Tom-it is a Remo Powerstroke batter head-and a wide-open kick, no muffling. The Kick Port does a lot tohelp get that huge sound.

  • you look like dan whitesides a lot...are you him!?!

  • where do i buy this?

  • what kind of snare is that?

  • @alwayzsk8 The snare is a stock Yamaha-it came with the kit.

  • Is it common in your country to host rock concerts at hockey arenas? Isn't it particularly dangerous? Very nice kit by the way!

  • @HOOKSnKISSES

They usually carpet the entire hockey arena
