@MrRyan68bug diesel trucks run so fast because of all the torque and low and power a 4x4. they pretty much fall on there faces on the big end. so that truck probably runs low 7s in the 1/8 where as a 10 sec car will probably run mid to high 7s. the they dont need as much top speed to run quick ETs. and as for the smoke he is probably making a good 70 pound of boost or so to run 10s and if he wanted to spray it or just put some bigger turbos on it he will have plenty of fuel

After the last few years of BS'ing around with those problematic 6.0s, Ford needs a good solid powerplant in their pickups. @CowsXonXcrack I had a Cat in my 33k lb '01 T7500 flatbed wrecker. It had plenty of power with the 300hp and 880 ft/lbs of torque, but it also had a lot of issues after 100,000 miles. Lots of oil leaks, and it burned quite a bit of oil too. It wasn't that great of a motor for longevity, but my last truck was a '91 Mack with a 300hp Econodyne diesel, so that's like night and day in terms of quality. The old Mack motors seemed to be a lot better than anything else I've ever driven.

i just read all 281 comments on here and they all say the same shit. the car got beat, the truck hauls ass, diesel is WAY cleaner than gas, we all have our own preferences and oppinions (i prefer chevy myself), and we all need to get along. oh and by the way its a dodge not a ford for you genius's. a caterpillar motor will beat all 3 ford, chevy, and doge (all being stock including the cat motor), hands down.

@CowsXonXcrack I had a Cat in my 33k lb '01 T7500 flatbed wrecker. It had plenty of power with the 300hp and 880 ft/lbs of torque, but it also had a lot of issues after 100,000 miles. Lots of oil leaks, and it burned quite a bit of oil too. It wasn't that great of a motor for longevity, but my last truck was a '91 Mack with a 300hp Econodyne diesel, so that's like night and day in terms of quality. The old Mack motors seemed to be a lot better than anything else I've ever driven.

Most diesels produce less emissions than gas cars, congratulations on being ignorant. By the way, alot of European Car Manufacturers have diesel cars being produced for that reason and because of the massive amount of milage you can get with a diesel engine compared to a gasoline engine. Typical foreigners to blame everything on the most powerful country in the world (And we're even in a recession and we're the most powerful, haha!)
