You AND Bud Lindermann for some reason forgot to mention that this was the first year that the spring Darlington race was known as the Rebel 500. It used to be called the Rebel 400.
Thanks again for this vintage NASCAR. I was a Bobby Allison back then, but David Pearson was just awesome that year in the Woods Brothers Mercury. I saw him win both races at Dover that year.

Thanks for the video. I went to my first race when I was 13 at Dover Downs, 1972 Mason-Dixon 500. I love old-style NASCAR.
