Most people miss the entire point of journaling. To most people, writing in a journal is some derivation of "today I woke up. I went to the grocery store. I cooked dinner. I felt sad. I watched television. I went to bed."

That totally misses the point.

Just express. Write? Doodle? DRAW? Doesn't matter.

Just express.

That's a journal.

I think we live in a society where everything is hurry, hurry, hurry with no time to wait or think in between. We live for the next paycheck, the next bill, we live to hold our place in this world.  Sometimes, you need to stop and just breathe in that moment so that you don't forget yourself.
