@Oscha12 How much is a torn.e.b worth? i have a 1944 version with the "war department technical bulletin" i have the power supply and the radio and both covers too, everything is all in near perfect condition. If you can help, please tell me what i can expect to get for it.
@killz4thrillz87 Prices have leveled out as less people have spare money. Your radio is still a good investment and should be preserved. I would say current pricing for a complete set up with a battery box and both lids is still around 1,500 to 2,000 US dollars. Many other factors will affect price. Does the radio work? Are all the parts matched? How is the condition of the paint? I've seen a complete set up go for as high as $8,000 when people had money.
@videohead20de I have repaired only a few radios. If it is an obvious repair most people can work on these. Due to age though, many of the parts need replacment and cleaning. It really depends on the condition of the radio and there are very few people who have this ability and knowledge. They are out there.
hi, i assume the song is being played on a CD player or something? You appear to have the mic & the headphones plugged in but obviously on a receiver there is no need for a mic. No speaker is shown & the sound isn't coming in that quality from the phones... Just curious.
I just played a song off the computer. The mic and telegraph are laying in front of the 5 watt sender. The headphones are for the receiver unit. The radio set up is a FU 9 set up with the sender and Torn Eb receiver. Just tried to make it appear period.
congratulations for all the set up , good mood thank you .

Song is "Wovan kann der Landser denn schon traeumen". I usually leave all of it at home and bring out the repros to the events. Thanks.
