No. I had no idea you were on Yelp. I just searched though and saw a few old threads with your name. I wish we could connect on Yelp but it doesn't sound like you make your "troll" accounts public so at least we'll connect on here. glad to meet you Brendan, or should I say flightsuit
@DenzelSheppard Yep. I have a LOT of animosity toward the clowns who work at Yelp HQ. Those idiots have set up a system where anybody can lose their account due to unwarranted flagging, and when that happens to you, you have no recourse.
i definitely hear what you're saying, seems like all internet companies operate like this nowadays. but since we keep using them, they have no impetus to change. nobody ever seems to protest by, for example, quitting the service. they keep coming back for more abuse. several companies have deleted my accounts for no reason and now i dont go back.
@DenzelSheppard Well Yelp's Talk forums are run in a piss-poor manner that makes every other forum look very good by comparison. In almost any other forum, even ones owned and operated by amateurs, decisions about whether to remove posts or threads, or ban users, are made by actual human moderators who are accountable to the community. Only on Yelp do you have the mob rule of the community flagging system, with no human oversight.
@FormerlyFlightsuit mob rules the world too. political system, everything is mob ruled. i think it's a terrible way to have things but we either gotta work around it or revolt against the mob-owned system. privatize
@DenzelSheppard Denzel, did you just randomly stumble across these videos without realizing I was one of the notorious, banned-for-life San Francisco Yelpers? People know me there as Brendan "Flightsuit" B. Search Yelp Talk for my Yelp name, and you'll find several threads about me getting banned. I periodically return to Yelp using what Yelpers would call "troll" accounts, though I don't think that's the right term, 'cause I'm not actually trolling.
@DenzelSheppard Anyway, there are a few bitter, cowardly snitches on that site who will immediately flag my "troll" accounts for deletion when they realize the accounts belong to me. Therefore, I am worried that people will see you, a newcomer to Yelp, posting my videos, and they'll therefore mistakenly conclude that you *are* me, and then they'll flag you for deletion.
@crazyclimber80 Back in the middle of April, the seagulls killed a duckling or a gosling during a feeding frenzy. I don't know which it was, 'cause I wasn't there, but apparently some regular park-goers were traumatized by the event.
Too cute! Never knew you were a Youtube poster...
