It's okay, Mr. Freeze was the shit when I was 10. You should show it to your love child... That took me way to long to come up with and it wasn't funny at all. I'm stoned right now watching Batman and Robin. I'd highly recommend it. I actually think Robin as a sidekick is so gay. That's part of the reason it was funny on the 60's show.
Arnold: You were a fucking star in T1, T2, T3, Predator, Commando and in many others.
Those movies I mentioned are some of my favorute movies of all time. How couldnt I forgive you for a ONE single piece of shit some dare to call a movie?
@Redrobin1301 What? What do you mean 'Not a bad movie'???? I'm a true Batman fan, like alot of other people, but this one made me fall asleep. That's rare, I NEVER fall asleep during movies. Batman,Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight (and I should already include TDKR) are the only Awesome Batman movies.
The thing that really fucks me over is the fact they portrayed Bane for being some sort of dum ass when actually he was very intelligent as he was a master strategist in the comic.
Batman and robin wasnt exactly a "bad movie". It was pretty ok, but it still was my least favorite of all of them. They made it to kidish in some places and to adult in others. Not really a good mix. The movie before that was pretty good to, but had kind of the same flaws. Now the first two they made were the best of all time (in my opinion). Batman begins and the dark knight were close but not quite as good as the first two, And I hope the that The Dark Knight Rises will live up to them also.
@Redrobin1301 No... Just... No............ And it actually was a bad movie. For example they screwed up Bane hard. The mix between kidish and adult parts was the least problem about this fail movie. But Burton's Batman Returns was a really good one. Dark, serious. Schumacher got it TOTALLY wrong though. We will see if Nolan proves himself as the best producer when TDKR will be released. So your opinion (I know it's your opinion) is not reliable. Sorry to say that.
@BenGriffithsReviews because these ones made me laugh and even in the comics my favorite villans were mr freeze, the riddler and poison ivy but in the newer versions they only had the joker that i liked but harley quin was not in the movie and now they can't make another joker movie because heath ledger died R.I.P
@MrBOPESquad2 Call of duty style realism?....You could have said Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, man, countless of them. Call of Duty? You don't use a digital depiction of war as an example to explain such a thing. I get where you're coming from. But Cod was just not the best you could have said.
You have are forgiveness for this utter trash of fucking rubbish it was a huge waste of time and to think I saw this fucking turkey at UCI Tower Park in I believe screen 5 in DOLBY SR-D and DOLBY is best sound format EVER! It was still a fucking turkey! Oh and what do I fucking do I buy the fucking DVD but it hardly ever gets played!
@TheJohnnyJohnster Yes you repeated the same fucking mistake twice no you repeatedly done it over and fucking over! Jingle All the fucking Way are you kidding us all!
Patrick Stewart would have been the best choice for Mister Freeze, but Joel Schumacher wanted "someone who looked like they were carved out of a glacier..." And while I do respect some of Joel Schumacher's films (The Number 23 and Falling Down) his decisions are questionable when it comes to Batman.
@spudsydog Stewart could certainly have made a good (and more traditional) Mr Freeze. I also agree about questionable decisions. On the other hand, didn't he cast Kilmer as Batman? I thought that that was a brilliant move.

@MrBOPESquad2 Call of Duty realism? You mean where, when you've been shot you hide behind a wall and wait for a few seconds to be healed? Cracking realism there...
Well to be fair, Arnold (for me anyways) was the guy who made the movie watchable
I wouldn't say he was like Raul Julia (Bison in "Street Fighter", who was just awesome as Bison and JCVD had some funny one liners as well), but he was pretty funny to watch and to listen to
@121689jsr No man don't worry I thought it was genuinely Arnie too, until I read the description. But either way, this is the most accurate impression I've ever heard.
I actually think that Schwarzenegger was a good choice for Mr Freeze - he was just given lousy dialogue, ridiculous one-liners and an unforgivable excuse for a movie in which to play him. Batman and Robin could have been good with Arnie in it - but it would have also had someone else (Kilmer, Keaton) playing Batman, no Batgirl, no Bane and a significantly altered script (and plot). Let's face it - a good Batman and Robin would be almost unrecognisable from the original.
@NewhamMatt yeah, Arnold's monotone-emotionless voice would be perfect for freeze. If only they had given him a script that made him an emotionless robot of a man, rather than whatever the fuck they were trying to do in this bowel movement of a film.
@TheLionKiller101 I felt that his deep, emotionless voice could have made for a strong villain, and he certainly wasn't going to be accused of being a carbon copy of Jack Nicholson's Joker - an accusation levelled at Jim Carrey's Riddler and particularly Tommy Lee Jones' Two-Face. He's a big, imposing guy, and he could have been a good match for a decent Batman and Robin, if they weren't too busy with lousy one liners, and he wasn't conducting his goons' choir. Seriously!
@NewhamMatt Well, see the thing was, at the time, a Batman movie had to be developed and released soon or Gambol wouldn't be able to get a nickel for his grandma...
@NewhamMatt Bullshit. I cannot imagine a worse choice for Mr Freeze. You need an actor who looks unintimidating and can give incredibly understated and deadpan performances with surgical precision in voice and movement, and they cast a Mr Universe who is known for his legendary overacting, terrible diction and complete lack of theatrical discipline. Well, they wouldn't cast you, would they?
You'd definetely get a role if there was ever a villain called the "The Big Ranting Baby", though.
@terminegger Well the joke's on you, because 'The Big Ranting Baby' is going to be the villain in The Dark Knight Rises, and I'm on my fifth callback...
@billytamer I agree about the accent, although it does give him that sense of menace (or at least would if he wasn't making horrendous one liners). I know that Freeze is not usually as intimidating as Arnold - I wasn't so concerned about the build, though - Danny Devito's Penguin bore little resemblance to the character from the comic books and I still found him effective. Superhero films reflect their source material, but are, by necessity, different.
@NewhamMatt I agree, he was a cool Mr. Freeze. If Kilmer was available, Robin's suit had remained the same, Bane was absent, no camp, no nipples, different choice of a secondary villain, and more focus on the tiranny and tragedy of Freeze would have been excellent. They should have also omitted the Batman and Robin arguing/fighting, it was stupid.
This and Red Sonja are about the only two Ahnuld movies I can't stomach. Beyond that though I'll even watch LAH even if it's also a steaming pile of dung.
Although I'd have to say that knocking up the help and keeping it from your wife for over a decade is probably a bigger misstep than Batman & Robin.
@Bagheadman A lot of people seem to like Justin Bieber whereas the amount of people who have even heard of Syd Barrett, does that make Justin Bieber superior to Syd Barrett? Your argument is invalid.
@DimebagsZombie And yours is just a blatant opinion. Your blatant opinion. I've got backing behind mine, and you're just talking about how much you love Justin Bieber for some reason.
@Bagheadman Actually I do not like Justin Bieber, the point was that Syd Barrett who is barely known today had MUCH more talent than a pop "sensation" as people call him. Just because something is liked doesn't make it good. Twilight was liked very much by the media, does that make it good? No. Fame does not equate into being good.
@Bagheadman Twilight was an insult to the human race and so is Justin Bieber, that said, Kindergarten Cop was a good IDEA, but performed poorly. Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of my favorites, but he wasn't suited to Kindergarten Cop other than being a mini-Hulk. It was just a deconstruction of what it could have been. Maybe if AS was replaced by Gary Sinise and the soundtrack wasn't so cliche' it'd be different. But as it stands, it's just not worthy of being labeled an AS classic.
How could you not apologise for the Bat Credit Card?

How about Kindergarten Cop? That thing was an abomination on crack, or should I say "ice".

@DimebagsZombie
You're not well backed in that opinion, old boy. Most people liked it. A lot.
Bagheadman 7 months ago
@Bagheadman A lot of people seem to like Justin Bieber whereas the amount of people who have even heard of Syd Barrett, does that make Justin Bieber superior to Syd Barrett? Your argument is invalid.
DimebagsZombie 7 months ago
@DimebagsZombie And yours is just a blatant opinion. Your blatant opinion. I've got backing behind mine, and you're just talking about how much you love Justin Bieber for some reason.
Bagheadman 7 months ago
@Bagheadman Actually I do not like Justin Bieber, the point was that Syd Barrett who is barely known today had MUCH more talent than a pop "sensation" as people call him. Just because something is liked doesn't make it good. Twilight was liked very much by the media, does that make it good? No. Fame does not equate into being good.

@DimebagsZombie But Kindergarten Cop does. And I'm so glad we agree on this. On the quality of that fine, fine film. The excellent quality of it.
