What happens when Blackwater does'nt like whats going on in a future American government, adminstration or disagrees with a sitting President. Private armys are the most dangerous things a domocracy can face. Mr. Prince needs to be in jail. He has stolen from the taxpayers, murdered innocent people and is a disgrace to the constitution. I do agree with the danger to a "private military". However BW is a"private security". You honestly believe former cops and military would revolt against the US for a paycheck? Also Prince served honorably in our Navy Seals. And is a Patriot, which is more than I can say for you. There is no evidence that he Murdered anyone. You slanderous fool. At what time did Prince or his companies steal from the taxpayers? He provides a service that he had to competitively bid to the US congress. Who in turn voted to purchase his services. And on what grounds should Prince be arrested?  You're right, we should throw people like him in jail, without trial. That would be a great way to not "disgrace to the constitution" as you put it. You speak of Democracy then promote Dictatorship? Chose a side! Because right now, your on the wrong one.

When I called your hand, you were at least present to answer. Prince may never see this thread and therefore never defend the "unconfirmed" threats and slander against him. So I presume you get to play by your own set of rules, with no repercussion. Sounds eerily similar to what BW is being vilified for...

96% of "their money" is from the taxpayers. It's not like they invented a new product or anything. they just repackage what gov produced at gov expense (special ops trained x military) and rip the taxpayers off while at it. but that's not even the issue. Read federalist papers 24-29. that's the real issue here: how does unaccountable private standing army, very similar to the British East India Co forces, go around shooting people. would you want them in your neighborhood? I wouldn't.

But they aren't an ARMY. Their operations are defensive, they are armed escort/close protection (typically, anyway). An "army" gives the implication that they are ready to conduct offensive operations to strike at the heart of the enemy, and that is not what BW is hired to do.

And so what if it comes from taxpayers? Our tax dollars pay for military services as well, which are more costly, and as for being "repackaged", they're hired for different work as contractors than that of what they did while in the Armed Forces.

Service members can go anywhere they want after their commitment is done. One of the benefits of joining the military, that the military advertises no less, and in exchange for risking your life, they will provide you with valuable and marketable skills that you can use when your service is up.
