What's with the youtube loading times on the desire? It's terrible compared to the nexus. And their both made by the same company. Can anyone else confirm that youtube is this slow on their phone (desire)?

Tbd both phones are great it's jus t that the desire falls behind sometimes due to the fact that it is also loading up flash content where as the nexus one isn't so it's reasonable , or they both should about roughly the same on loading up webpages. I like the look of the browser on desire because it has the nice GUI effects. Hopefully I'm getting one.

okay dude you dont even have your nexus updated to 2.2 for one and for two the nexus dose support flash so i dont know why you are comparing it like that. the desire might have sense UI but to bad it wont be getting any of the regular android updates light 2.2.

Nexus is not better, Desire has flash and that's why nexus was faster. While nexus was done, Desire was downloading flash content.

Why is better the Desire?

More ram, and Sense can be Disabled, so.. you have a Nexus One with more Ram :D
