I always wondered how people manage to play diatonic instruments (like the steyrish harmonica and bandonion). You have my full respect, I can not do that. That's the reason why I'm a lazybone and play chromatic instead. You are on the right track obviously....

I was always confused with sidechanges (or blowing versus inhaling with harmonica) producing different notes.
I found chromatic instruments to be much more logical in comparison to the note system (sheets), not needing to think about direction for a single note - but I played piano first. Maybe this is the reason.

Thanks, but I play chromatic accordion as well and I consider the diatonic accordion to be rather easier ^^

the buttons are arranged so their sounds fit together and you can easier play chrords on the melody site
with notes i can't say as i only played out of mind and rather self written pieces
