Today, is the 10 th anniversary of Chucks passing. Such a shame that such a legend died so young. His talent shall truly be missed, and we all hope that he's shredding out some awesome music somewhere else.

If only he was still alive, imagine what he could of released, it's mesmerizing to think about, because it's obvious he would of gotten even better, as he did with each and every album.

I think it's kind of funny how people consider Chuck the "father" of death metal. While he was the backbone of Death, it's not like the Death was the sole pioneer of the genre. There was Possessed, Morbid Angel, Deicide, and a whole shit ton of other bands that were doing what Death was doing at around the same time.
