  • Thats true i just trying to help , your videos are excellent im from Dominican Republic black belt judo, i the true is that i love this sport with all my heart i teach in a dojo if some day you come over here it will be a pleasure to have you in my dojo teaching your techniques.

    Regards,

  • Sounds great, I may be down that way this year teaching a seminar, I'll drop you an email when the dates get firmed up.

  • Thanks for the comments, I hope it can be of use.

Truth be told I didn't call it a yoko-tai-otoshi, I called it a yoko tani-otoshi, as that is what my first coach called it.

Depsite what many folks thing there is still variation in names of techniques. Or at least that is what I have found while rolling about on the mat around the world.

As I have said before, call it whatever you want.

  • Excellent, but its not a Yokotaitoshi its almost a yokoguruma

  • I wanna see a video on grip fighting. since that is where judo starts. =)

  • awesome! thanks! im gonna have them go in on purpose inc lass today and try to counter :O

  • man in a match can you do those counter attacks?at ipponseoinage?

  • Yes

  • I wish I saw this sooner...I end up dealing with failed Ippon Seoi Nages and really like these techniques.

  • Very Handy Hits. Thanks Heaps!
