  • Dan is charming and fascinating person.

  • He was my teacher!!!

  • I can certainly understand the progression of the evolution of paper mache. Chinese make paper. Then they make armor to protect them from the paper.

Ever get a paper cut? It's not pretty!

    Great video, very entertaining!

  • You are a great speaker too! and soooooo funny!!!

    Peace

  • Dan you technique is superb!

  • Hi Dan. Great work. I really enjoy your time-lapse video presentation - it's like watching something being born - and especially enjoy the videos where you create two characters simultaneously. Nice going. I feel so humbled - I'm just finishing my first bowl - I haven't papier mache'd in a gazillion years. Thanks for keeping this art form exciting and new - your work is like wondrous stories - I wondered what music you listen to whilst creating.

Cheers, Joe from just outside Toronto

  • Thanks Dan! Whats next a world-wind 37 cities in 10 days? Leno?, Conan? or is it Ellen this week? Really enjoy your new book. My studio is again covered in flour and glue and it seems all the newspapers in the neighborhood are missing, coincidence?

Thank you so much for commenting. I want to mention that the focus was on the slides that night in the theater. They were fast moving and colorful. This video focused on my talking head, not nearly as interesting. All in all it turned out fine. Take care

    Dan
