why does that fuel gauge drop to E each time you start it up most U.S. toyotas I have been in only do that when the battery is low this one to me seems like the battery is low
@k3vanoo Yoo man. The S.E. Asian Camry is actually based on the Australian Toyota Aurion. So they actually renamed the car as the Camry when they launched the car in 2006.
I like this Camry so much more than the US one. BTW Canada's Acura CSX is a luxury Malaysia-spec Civic, and yes I like the light design more than the US one. My sister's boyfriend has a 2007 Civic, maybe if he comes down he might let me do a video of his. I think the Lexus ES350 should've been based off this. Much better.
My mom's friend has a 2008 Camry LE 2.4, and I am not totally impressed with it. I thought the cloth is scratchy and not soft enough, though the seats suctioned me in, especially with Camrys' thick thigh support, which is really nice. I hate seats that have no thigh support, not comfortable, and you have to be deliberate in keeping your thighs upright. Your legs start to ache. The ride is WAY too fidgety and bouncy on bumps. Civic and Mazda3 ride better. My mom said the throttle was too jerky.
uh huh. i didn't get to drive this car on a long journey like the 2009 accord i made a video on back in august, but i did drive it for a very short while and it was pretty ok. but i think the accord feels better in quality and whatnot.
I agree with the dude above this is much nicer than the US version. Neat extra emblems on the outside & ashtrays. American cars never get ashtrays in them anymore
@thecarexpert18 But I'm sure they tuned the engine to be a little more powerful and smoother, and the brake and gas pedal to be more precise and weighted, as Lexus does. Luxury cars have pedal, suspension, and steering responses that define them as feeling higher quality.
Yep identical interior to our 2009 Camry SE

Also one more thing, the sunshade also goes back up after a certain speed when your in D. Same thing in my dad's ES350. Very neat.

That is very interesting! The US spec camry has a completely different exterior, but an identical interior to this model here.

alexlovesmac 1 year ago
@alexlovesmac I'm not sure. they might have manual controls, but then again i'm no camry expert.

k3vanoo 2 years ago
@k3vanoo if the Australian bodystyle Camry is the same as the US version, then no. We do have some grey imported ones from Japan though.
