Wasn't it Richard Hoagland who said the acronym for NASA is Never A Straight Answer? At the 1 min. 30 sec. portion of the video they ask more questions and tell us what info they will glean from the Sat. but do we hear the daily results and their short/long term implications on the nightly news? Interesting name that 'Aquarius'...to me this is a dumbed-down explanation for the masses, including Joe six pack version of what they CHOOSE to tell us, is going on....don't get me started...

this may be ignorant and ill be the first to admit -im woefully undereducated-but in regards to the methane release in the arctic-isnt there some way to utilise all the gas being released??..is there no science/technology capable of capturing this gas and somehow channeling it to use for energy?-or is it to dangerous to attempt,due to explosive/incindiery propeties..we tap into it underground, but how can we do the same in the arctic?..forgive my ignorance-just trying to see some kind positive?

Your question is neither ignorant nor stupid, some of the best scientists in the world have the same idea. In Canada and Russia Methane is trapped in Ice and Russia has ancient bogs which if they melt, well it's not good. The bogs is a massive ancient volcanic bed and will release tons of GH gases.

This is great, I've been wondering lately about how the Thermal Hayline Conveyor has been going, but I haven't heard any one say a damn thing about it in the past couple of years. I had heard a couple of years ago that it had stopped for a couple of weeks or some thing and the weather has been getting pretty wild these past couple years so I was thinking either that or it's because the Sun is due for it's 11 year peak in 2012.
