The gears are too short on a civic to hit those speeds and the motor would blow before hitting 170mph.

To put it in a civic all you'd basically need would be motor mounts, modified cross member, tranny tunnel, rear end, and your typical engine swap items.

@kageryu311 btw, you could probably get close to 500hp with jus L92 heads, intake, cam, tune plus other basic bolt ons. Throw that on an Lq4 long block (1000bux minus money from selling heads cams etc). That's 500hp for 4000 bux engine included

@adrenalineboyzryan He did the 5-6 gear shift. Stock gearing on a Supra is good for 190mph at 8000rpm. You shift to 6th and you can hit 200mph at about 8000rpm.

NONE of the supras on here are stock by any means. ANY car can be fast with enough money. A car that did low 13s back in 1993 wasn't a slow piece of shit. Also the thing that sets Supras apart from many cars is its capability to make large amounts of power on the stock bottom end and its responsiveness to modifications.

You use the same stupid line many people use, "you can make anything fast" speed is relative.

@whayden2011 SW and Tommy bahn hit well over 240 mph in 5th gear in Texas mile in their supras.

A Supra with a stock diameter tires (25.03") would hit 190mph in 5th gear @ 7986 rpms.

I was on the other hand running on larger tires/wheels (25.60") and reving to nearly 8100.
