The powers that be are terrifying about electric cars and hybrids.

Cars that get 40+ miles a gallon or no gas at all means less money for the oil industry.

judging by the big SUV's in the background, fancy jewelry, and nice house, they are really struggling... it would have helped their argument if they actually got people who were struggling... OH and, I live in Texas and we use a wind power provider for our home energy; AND the monthly rate is cheaper than the traditional "dirty" power companies.

This movie is disingenuous. How many of the people in the video were told that there are more jobs to be created in clean energy industries than there are in oil? How many were told that the bill has provisions to help reduce the impact of higher energy prices on low-income people? How many were told that businesses purchasing renewable energy from Texan wind turbines have lower energy prices than those purchasing it from fossil fuels?
