The reason people like apple so much is exactly because of what you saw in the chat above. They are blind/stupid and like to follow shiny chrome things. However, the point I made originally was not about android vs IOS, it was about the fact that just because a phone looks like iphone doesn't mean they are the same (especially three years ago - when the iphone was the hottest phone in the mobile market). Kevin is usually a fanboy but here he has a point.

I wouldn't really call it a fight, thats how the show usually goes. See their argument over Microsoft Surface. As for the phone, Iphone brought a lot to the market, the biggest of which was their slick interface. Now everyone wants to make the Iphone killer and nobody has succeeded yet.

The reason is, these same people were Windows & PC Users at one time, who got tired of Crashes & Viruses. So they switched to a Mac & could not believe how stable & fast a computer could run. Software & Hardware built & designed by the same Company. After you start using a Mac (in most Cases), you have so much fun with your Mac, that you can't believe why it took you so long. And including iLife with every Mac only makes you more completely satisfied in creating Media Projects out of the box.

The point is when you have a touch screen phone. You can't really make it much different. It's just a large screen. Only thing you can change with the look is maybe modifying the bezel. Normal phones all look different since they can do a lot of weird shit with the design. Can't really do that with a touch screen focused device.
